- 2 cups vanilla ice cream
- 3/4 cup white chocolate chips, divided
- 1/2 cup crushed peppermint candy, divided
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 tablespoon peppermint extract
- Whipped cream (optional)
Place ice cream, 1/2 cup white chocolate chips, 3 tablespoons crushed peppermint candy, milk and peppermint extract in a blender and process until smooth and creamy. In a shallow microwave-safe bowl melt remaining 1/4 cup white chocolate chips. Place remaining crushed candy in a wide, shallow bowl or plate.
To serve, gently dip the rims of two 10- or 12-ounce glasses into the melted white chocolate, then dip into crushed peppermint candy. Fill with milkshake, top with whipped cream and sprinkle with remaining crushed peppermint candy.
