Walthall County Dairy Festival – June 3, 2017, all day (Tylertown, Miss.)
Year after year, everybody has fun at Tylertown’s Dairy Festival, even the cows! The festival is free, as are all of festival activities, making it a real treat for families looking for a day of fun. Where else can you get FREE ICE CREAM and MILK? Come early before it’s gone! See the event schedule for info on the entertainment, pageants, contests (sack race, call-calling, ice cream eating, butter churning, etc.). Don’t miss the Tractor and Vintage Engine Show, Art and Heritage Expo, the “Cow Bag Nationals” Antique Car Show, Flower Show, and the 2017 International Turtle Races. Putnam County Dairy Festival – June 3, 2017, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. (Eatonton, Ga.)
The dairy farmers of Putnam County, Georgia invite you to Courthouse Square for the Putnam County Dairy Festival on June 3. The day is packed full of local vendors and fun events. The morning will kick off at 8:00 a.m. with a Torture Trail Road Race (10K) and Fun Run (1-mile). A parade will begin at 10:00 a.m. and followed by a program to honor the dairy family of the year. Barbecue will be served on the Courthouse Square and free entertainment all afternoon. The Putnam County Dairy Festival Queen will also make an appearance. Lincoln County Dairy Day – June 3, 2017, all day (Fayetteville, Tenn.)
Lincoln County, Tenn. will host Dairy Day on the lawn of the Fayetteville Lincoln County Courthouse on Saturday, June 4. The day will include a cow mooing contest, milk balloon toss, cow milking contest, ice cream eating contest, guess-the-weight-of-the-cow contest, petting zoo, guess-how-much-corn-is-in-the-jar contest, train rides, and a butter-making station. There will be live music and a Dairy Day Pageant will take place throughout the day. Click here for more info.
Seafood and Farmers Market – June 3, 2017, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. (Delcambre, La.)
First Saturdays, March to December from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Come and enjoy live music and fresh seafood for sale from a variety of Louisana vendors. South Carolina Ag+Art Tour – June 3-25, 2017 (various locations)
The South Carolina Ag+Art Tour is a self-guided tour of farms and local artisan shops. During the tour, visitors have the opportunity to see first-hand where their food comes from, watch artists in action and purchase their works, dance to the melodies of bluegrass and folk songs, and learn more about rural life. The tour is the largest free farm and art tour in the nation with over 20,000 visitors participating since 2012. For more information, click here.
Virginia Cheese Festival – June 9, 2017, 6:30 p.m. (Blacksburg, Va.)
The Blacksburg Partnership is proud to announce at the second annual Virginia Cheese Festival on Friday, June 9, 2017 at 6:30 p.m. at the Pavilion at Historic Smithfield Plantation. Everyone will enjoy a day of artisan cheese tastings from all over Virginia, wine and beer pairings, workshops, family activities, live music, a farm animal petting area and regional art. Dairy Day – June 9, 2017, 7:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. (Brookhaven, Miss.)
Don’t miss Dairy Day at the farmer’s market. You’ll have the chance to visit with your local dairy farmers and even feed and pet the baby calves. The event will be in downtown Brookhaven at Railroad Park from 7:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Free ice cream and milk will be available. Contact the City of Brookhaven, Miss. for more info.
Dairy Night at Lexington – June 15, 2017, 7:05 p.m. (Lexington, Ky.)
See the Lexington Legends face off against the Asheville (NC) Tourist on June 14. The Legends will host dairy farmers from all over the state of Kentucky and honor dairy farmers for all of their dedication and hard work. The first pitch will be thrown by a local dairy farmer at 7:05 p.m. Everyone is welcome to share some baseball fun and meet a local dairy farmer. Click here for tickets.
Dairy Night at Bowling Green – June 22, 2017, 6:35 p.m. (Bowling Green, Ky.)
See the Bowling Green Hot Rods face off against the Fort Wayne (Ind.) TinCaps on June 22 and honor the hard work of Kentucky dairy farmers. A farmer will throw the first pitch at 6:35 p.m. Come celebrate and get more with milk with the dairy farmers of Kentucky. Click here for tickets.
Explore More with Dairy – June 24, 2017, 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. (Harrisonburg, Va.)

Simply Natural Ice Cream Festival – July 15, 2017, all day (Ayden, N.C.)
